Training in safety plays a very significant role in industrial loss prevention. Information gained through training exercises sessions augments the existing safety procedures. Comprehensive OH&S trainings ranging from mandatory to need based training, incident prevention training to refresher training is provided at QAFCO. Some of the key OH&S trainings include Induction safety, Shutdown safety training, Emergency response personnel training, Incident reporting and investigation training, Ammonia safety training, Work and Entry Permit training, Behavior based safety training, etc.
Training is imparted through both in-house resources as well as external resources. These training modules continuously evaluated by the line management for opportunities for improvement.
At QAFCO, these have yielded results as is evident from the low incident statistics and high awareness levels of employees, contractors and visitors.
