Safety & Environment Forum

Aware of its role in protecting the environment, QAFCO took the initiative to establish a safety & environment forum with its neighboring companies in the year 2007. The prime agenda of this forum was to establish mutual –aid program among the immediate neighbors in case of emergencies. The program includes sharing of safety and environment related information, sharing of emergency equipment, familiarization visits, evacuation plans, statutory updates etc. Top management of the member companies signed the charter for the forum and the Chairmanship of the forum is on an annual rotation basis. The forum meets three times a year. The forum launched the first edition of its Mutual Aid Emergency response plan (MAP) in January 2011.
